Autoneum Shop Steward Reinstated With Full Back Pay

The story of Dwayne Brown, a member of the RWDSU Southeast Council, is an important reminder of the power of our union. Dwayne Brown has worked for Autoneum in Aiken, SC for eight years as a Maintenance A Tech employee. He also serves as an RWDSU union shop steward. On December 20, 2023, Dwayne was terminated without just cause. The union fought back through arbitration, which occurred on May 21, 2024. Just last week on July 19, 2024, Dwayne received his award: reinstatement with full back pay, to be “made whole.” Congratulations to Dwayne and all his union siblings who will be welcoming their shop steward back to Autoneum!
