Brown Food Service Workers Ratify Strong Contract

Congratulations to RWDSU Local 21 members who work at Brown Food Service in Louisa, Kentucky! Workers just ratified a strong new contract. The solidarity shown was absolutely amazing, and workers stood up for one another every step of the way!

Highlights include:

• $1500 bonus

• Ousting contractor

• An average of 10% increases across the board

• Quality of life changes including:

  • overtime fixes for Saturday/sixth day work

  • labor-management meetings

  • shift protections
