RWDSU ENDORSES LT. GOVERNOR KATHLEEN HOCHUL FOR RE-ELECTION

Today, President Stuart Appelbaum of the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU) announced the union’s endorsement of New York State Lieutenant Governor Kathleen Hochul on her re-election campaign.

“Kathy is a fierce advocate for working women and men across New York State; she sets an example for so many young women interested in government. From her early work establishing the Kathleen Mary House for survivors of domestic violence to increasing the minimum wage and Paid Family Leave, Kathy has been a strong advocate for working people across the state – and we need that strength in New York. The RWDSU is proud to endorse Lieutenant Governor Kathleen Hochul for re-election today,” said Stuart Appelbaum, President of the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU).

"I grew up in a union family that raised me with a strong passion for economic justice and fundamental belief that no one working full-time should have to live in poverty," said Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul.
