RETAIL, WHOLESALE AND DEPARTMENT STORE UNION ENDORSES TOM SUOZZI IN NY-3

(NEW YORK, NY) – Today, the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU) endorsed Tom Suozzi for the open seat in New York’s 3rd Congressional District. 

“As a Member of Congress, Tom Suozzi has always been a tireless advocate for working people. During his tenure in Congress, Tom was reliably on labor’s side, from championing the PRO Act to securing a fix for multiemployer pension plans in the American Rescue Plan to helping negotiate the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. He prioritized strengthening the Labor Caucus while serving as its Co-chair of Outreach, building the membership to over half the House Democratic Caucus. We know that Tom fundamentally understands the issues facing RWDSU members and that he will return to Congress ready to fight for them. Let’s join together and send our friend Tom Suozzi back to D.C. to continue getting things done on behalf of working people,” said Stuart Appelbaum, President of the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU).
