Today, the New York Committee for Occupational Safety and Health (NYCOSH) released a report, “Time Off Task: Pressure, Pain, and Productivity at Amazon” that highlighted the company’s unhealthy workplace practices at their Staten Island, New York facility.
At NYC's City Hall today, the RWDSU was joined by community groups and elected officials to announce the release of "What's Wrong With Amazon?," a report detailing how Amazon's practices affect workers and communities.
The Retail Action Project has released a Struggling To Feed Their Families, A Survey of CUNY's Food Service Workers. The report shines a light on the daily workplace and living conditions of the food service employees throughout the City University of New York system. The survey solicited responses from approximately 450 CUNY food service workers spread across 14 campuses, serving students in various settings from cafeterias to kiosks.
