Union, New Jersey Candy Makers Ratify 3-Year Pact

Union membership might not be as sweet as candy, but it’s close! To that point; RWDSU Local 262 members in Union, New Jersey at Ce De Candy have ratified a new three-year contract that includes large wage increases. The agreement also sees the employer picking up between 85 and 100 percent of the medical plan costs, which is a great improvement. Contract highlights also include the addition of New Year’s Eve Day as a paid holiday, an additional sick day, and increases on the Christmas bonus. Ce De workers manufacture many different types of the classic Smarties candy line.
